I decided to stay offline for a bit due to stress from work. The game has been fun to make and I enjoy it very much but I had an indecent in my real life job that caused me so much stress that I couldn't bring myself to post about anything.
I was still working on the game while I was gone, no time lost :). I was blamed for damaging a pallet of televisions, each over $1500, because I decided to listen to my manager when he said I should leave them next to the area where we stack pallets of water. Another forklift driver turned too quickly and drop cases of water all over the place, mainly just hitting my pallet of TVs. Instead of having the manager or the reckless driver take responsibly, I was blamed for placing the TVs there on my day off.....
I had to deal with 3 days of not knowing if I was going to keep my job but all is fine now. I decided I will get all my other stuff back in order before I post the next build. Thanks to everyone who has been sending me messages

It was only a matter of time!!!
I guess it only took about a week until I broke my own expectation of posting every 4 days. Oh well at least it was only by one day. I was reading other game devs blogs and had the realization that I am working on my own game!!!!!
I am suppose to have the mid month version of the Eros Alliance done by tomorrow but that may also have to wait a day and if things go bad maybe two. I have really crappy hours at work at the moment with black Friday coming up and stores ordering things as early as they can to be ready for the nightmare. If it does get delayed I will have to post the pubic version of the game a few days late as well.
All the work is done in terms of assets and planning. When I make a new build, first thing I do is make a quick draft of what I want to add. Then I make all the assets like character art, animations, rooms. When that is finished, I write out how I am going to fit that into the game and start writing the dialog on a notepad. All that has been completed but the last step is the most time consuming because there is always a bug or step that I missed. It used to be a lot harder like when adding a room would take me about an hour or more if it had multiple entrances or npcs. Now its just 20 minutes with almost no bugs. What does take a while is making sure things stay consistent when the player starts a new day. This is what has caused me to stay away from the save system for so long because I am not confident in the tracking system just yet. Taking baby steps is the best way for me to go so I off I got to work on the game.

Progress so far
I've had a lot of time to work on the game theses past two weeks so I thought I would take a break form the Eros Alliance and work on the other game. I have finished almost all the things I need for the upcoming mid month build. The only things left are the skill functionality with its menu and the redheads animation. It has been decided that her name will be Emily from this day forward. I STILL have no idea what I want the animation to be!!!!!!!! Ugh.....life is hard.
Lola'sCouch is really excited about the game she is helping on so she wants to have the first build come out with at least 7 characters and about 8 rooms to travel to. She seems very eager to show the actual art but we still have no idea how we are going to get the animations to work out. Real details of the game will be up towards the end of November with an expected time of release for the first build so I though I would post one of her earliest sketches she had for one of the characters. Art is not final as she has just got her new drawing tablet in the mail. Much work to do but so much fun to be had.

How this works
If you are coming from my old blog you will see that I have put a lot more effort into keeping things organized. I let the old blog die because I wanted to focus on providing the Patreons I had with content so I made the game very private to the internet. Now I want to open things up for people to get information over whats new and going on before they decide to pledge and for my current patreons to see what going on at their own digression. I want to be consistently active for my supporters but I don't want to flood the patreon feed with information instead of content. I will be posting over the games every four days minimum.
Sorry for this ugly picture, the next time I post with a plan I will be sure to have a much nicer overview of the build for that month. This is going to be a breakdown of how and what the build will consist of this month.
For the mid month build
- Unstuck function: I will be creating a button in case your player gets stuck in a wall. This will keep you from having to restart the whole game. This will not be available for speech so I will have to focus harder on making sure there are no bugs when speaking to npcs.
- Walking Animation: Redoing the walking animation from the ground up. I wont edit the art but I will make it more fluid so the player doesn't look like hes sliding around the whole place. I am also adding stamina and running so that will also be a new animation.
- Red Head Animations: Polls have decided that the red head will be getting the new animation. I wont make it actual sex so it doesn't seem like a rushed situation.
- Market center touch ups. I will be gibing the market center a face lift to make it nicer to walk around. It will not be like the bar where it added onto it, Instead its just adding detail.
- Glory hole fix: You will be able to walk into the restaurant and buy more uses with Nawi instead of having to send her on her job the next day.
- Skills: You will be able to keep track of your skills in the game that will start to affect how thing turn out when speaking to someone.
End month build
- The mini game: I've been wanting to add for almost a month will be included. Will revolve around the pool looking table found at the bar.
- The new characters: After I post the mid build I will give light to these. It will be a new recruit that you will be able to get when she finds you smart enough.
- Madeline Fenton: I did not want to add more to my plate but I will be giving her an animation as well. Just doesn't feel right adding her in the game and not giving her a purpose.
- Main menu: I think you know what these are.
- Save System: If it works decently when I test it, I will add it to the game. Other wise it will be another month.
